1) Introduction In this article, the author compared the concept of leadership in the era of Islamic state in the era of Ibn Taimiyah and al-Mawardi. This article is a qualitative research and it verifies the difference between the concepts of leadership in the era of Islamic state and the modern era. The evolution of leadership concept based on several studies at the level of the same group is scrutinized.
