I used the first tutorial to rewrite my cable... Step 15 got meconfused as I couldn't find the \"VCR_CDM 2.00.00\" file. At thatpoint I thought my cable was gone, but eventually the computerfound the drivers needed and everything was fine. THANK YOU FORTHIS TUTORIAL! @TONCORONEL After I recoded the cable I used theVagCom software downloaded in the kit posted by FANTOMEL. Thesoftware version is 704.1, and the cable worked fine. (I have a704.1 cable) I think you should get another software for your cableto work with your new recoded cable. I didn't try to use the cablewith the software it came with because I don't want to rewrite itagain. sorry my friend but for 607 i don't have ept file, the ept filesthat i posted are only for english version of vag-com or vcds, andyes language matters for them. It worked for me, but here's anannoying problem::( The App. married to my cable always opens upwith a nag box that it's' out of date' Hmmmm. how is it findingthat After several uses in the car, my cable got bricked again (assome others found). I think I know why, but need help from theexperts: If you use a laptop and wifi/bluetooth is enabled withyour home network, when you next open the App within connectionrange, it goes off to the internet for a later version withoutasking ().
