Seven years were spent developing the script and filming began in Thailand in June 2005. The shoot was plagued by problems. When filming began, the Thai crew was not showing up for work. The entire crew was eventually replaced. An estimated 140,000 earthworms were fed to the reptiles during the shoot, but one of the producer phoned the animal welfare agency that negotiated with RHI, and was told that the agency would not pay for the removal of earthworms and that they had permission to feed the fish to the crocodiles.
This is the story of a crocodile park. The unnamed human concerns himself with the welfare of his animals. The end of the world starts with a natural disaster. A passing truck carrying people, supplies, and construction material strike a bridge and crashes into a nearby river. The truck is filled with the dead. The human is killed instantly. His partner awakens and runs for help. The owner looks after the dead. The police call for help after the dead have been identified. The name of the owner is Aras and he is a crocodile farmer, who keeps crocodiles as pets. The owner and his partner take the dead people to a local morgue where a pathologist is working. Meanwhile, the human manager calls Aras. He tells his partner to go to the reptile park to see what is causing the trouble there.
