Kiran Rawat, 45, and her husband Raj Singh, 43, were criminally charged with felony conspiracy, money laundering, money laundering conspiracy, methamphetamine possession, possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of sale, criminal possession of a forged instrument, official misconduct, and obstructing a law enforcement officer.
Neighbors also said they had complained to the city's housing department about the house's condition, which was a violation of city code. However, they said the city's code inspection did not go through and the house was allowed to remain in the neighborhood.
The eight charges against the couple stem from events from 2007 to 2011. The house was purchased by Rawat in 2006 for $235,000. Police said she and Singh paid $50,000 for the property with drug money, and at least $9,000 for the house was paid in cash. The Rawats paid $89,000 in cash to fix the house for the 2007 occupancy.
Neighbors said that Singh rented the upstairs of the house to prostitutes. Singh told police that he showed the upstairs of the house to two women he had met at the gym and had been told it was available.
The police said that they also discovered the Rawats had bought the house with drug money. They said the Rawats had initially invested $150,000 in the house, but their investment was worth only $30,000 when they were arrested.
Neighbors say that the house once served as a home for Rawat and her teen daughter, but the 19-year-old moved out to live with a boyfriend because she didn't like the home. Court records show Rawat has been living in a trailer on the property.
[Neighbors say that at one time, there was a house at 6136 Demonte Way -- once the residence of a woman who had moved out -- where a man who had been shot was taken to a nearby home and died.[[
UPDATE: Thirteen years after a South San Francisco police officer shot and killed a man at the home of a woman he thought was involved in a drug transaction, a court has ordered the seizure of the house and the payment of a $3.4 million settlement to the family.
If another hacker does this, then they will be able to put any game on the ps3 in a matter of minutes! and that means that Sony will be out of the console market for good. We have seen what happens when sony doesn't support games anymore. Nintendo is turning a profit, now it is time for Sony to do the same, or else they are dead.
I don't see the appeal of owning a Sony PS3, and I don't see the value of the PS3 as an entertainment device. Sony has become one of the most untrustworthy companies in the gaming industry in my eyes. 827ec27edc
