Vectorworks seats are not generally upgradeable. Each is a separate purchase. You can only upgrade one computer at a time. The A series and B series licenses are exception to this rule. You can upgrade between E series and A series and B series and A series, but not E series to B series or B series to E series.

Seesion Serial Numbers:Select the session you want to edit and then select the 'S' tab. In the Serial Number list, select the serial number you want to edit. You can only edit the serial number of the active license on the active session. To edit a serial number, select Edit and follow the on-screen instructions. Once you have finished, press Add and enter your new serial number. Press Add again when complete. You should see your new serial number and activated products listed to the right:

Single-seat licenses can be divided into E series and B series. E series licenses are activated online. Once you purchase an E series license, you would be provided with a download link and a serial number via email.
