GungHo's Line of Cards suffered from how several games were packaged together. For example, B6000 and B6101 were only available for five games. Players can also purchase access codes for normal and expert difficulty, but some of these codes have expired, and a few have never been released!
No general-purpose answer machine was available in Japan before 1983 as the mobile phone had just been born. You could send a telegram and cancel at the corresponding number, but the answer machine takes care of fixing the broken connections (terminating the circuit at the first stop on a loop) for you.
B6000 is the only game I have for this version of the PC-8801. It is extremely similar to Road Runner Race, but there are a few minor differences. For example, the B6000 game doesn't feature the chime when a car runs into the car in front, the A and B buttons have different functions, and the top screen has a different format.
The first release of this computer was the PC-6001. Although it was initially designed as a PC-8001 hobbyist's machine, the retail version was moved to the home market, and in 1978 was released as the NEC PC-8801. The retail version shipped with minor improvements, such as a larger video palette, but nonetheless suffered from a bad market reception. The PC-8801 was discontinued in Japan in 1980 (although NEC released the official successor, the NEC PC-9801, in 1981) and North America in 1981. d2c66b5586
